Guest Artists

We are pleased to announce that our guest artists this year are:

John Davies, David Finney, Clare Shaughnessy and Paul Tavernor.

John Davies makes exquisite carvings of birds in wood, and will be the first '3D' artist we have featured. We are hoping John will do a demo during the exhibition, so watch this website for more information nearer the time.

David Finney has had a lifelong interest in Natural-History, and a particular passion for British birds. David’s work has been reproduced on collectors-plates and greetings-cards. He has also recently illustrated two books by children’s author Nick Cooper.

Clare Shaughnessy paints the wilder, fiercer animals! Big cats, polar bears and wolves are some of the subjects she covers so beautifully.

Paul Tavernor's distinctive style of painting features movement in animals or a variety of characteristic 'head' poses. Paul paints mainly British wildlife to stunning effect.
